Thanks to the Imms for letting me know that you don't treat newbies the way I treated newbies 20 years ago (that's a joke, I sucked at this). My first memory was Diocletian pulling out a red dragon shield and giving it to my sorry little necro, which made me think, "Wow, these people are nice."
A few days later a Drow cleric keeps gating to me and raping me. I remember his description exactly:
"Got anything for me?"
I was like - wow - I have to get me a pair of dark moonstone pendants so I can be a badass too.
...
Now it's 20 years later and my back hurts when I crouch at the keyboard. Your areas are completely weird. This is going to be a painful learning curve. Hi.

Glad to see I'm not the only one with back pain while playing.

Welcome back! Ask any questions! There are no dumb questions, only dumb stone giants.

I take offence to the dumb stone giant statement. Can we be more politically correct and say giants in general? Thanks!
And welcome back!

Three herniated, compressed, and degenerative discs in my lumbar, I understand your pain well.
You'll likely enjoy AR more now than all those years ago; it's come a long, long way and is amazingly immersive.. so long as people's RP holds out.

Thanks everyone. It's been great! Amazing how fast it comes back to you.
And you're right Ty, it has indeed improved.
