Race vs Alignment

I always had a burning question about this and finally decided to make a post out of it.

Why should race affect alignment? Why can't I roll an evil gnome? Do evil gnomes not exist?

it's not that they don't exist, it's that the race is inherently predisposed to goodness because of its magical origins. The human race is the only one with no magical origins trying to force them to act in a particular way

in the past some gnomes have turned evil over the course of their lives but in most cases players can't sustain this level of rp and end up getting denied or deleting

Any race can be any alignment if you're willing to put in the RP. Once before, there had even been a good-aligned undead warrior.
