Monk Tattoos body parts

Does it matter which body part I choose to tattoo for a given specialty? For example if I monkey tattoo my arms vs monkey tattoo my torso will the ability/bonus be the same?

I think the tattoo only takes effect when that body part is unencumbered (no eq) so yeah it totes matters. I'm not sure if there's a mechanical effect to tattooing say hands vs head. If there's not, the best part to tattoo will depend on your playstyle and which equipment you know of and can obtain reliably. You want to pick a slot you don't want to put a rare on

Pretty sure, and correct me if I am wrong, but tattooing slots on monks undergo the multiplier effect for that slot. IE so Drunken gives AC, I believe it grants the MOST ac on Torso.

That's what I thought too Nadrin. I thought drunken grandmaster on torso gave like 100 ac or something (25*4).
