We have been seeing increased latency on AR lately and I dont have a better answer at the moment than maybe everyone is home watching netflix in your area. I have seen the disconnects affecting random people without crashes.

Would this be affected if I were using my own hot spot? I tried two different networks to avoid whats been going on, but that didn't help. About every 20 minutes of play time this has happened. The last time, about 10 minutes ago, I died to a mob because I went in and immediately got booted. I'm not so sure its the network I'm using that's at fault Any ideas? It's incredibly disheartening to see items that I waited a while to get disappear or crumble away because of an issue out of my control.

Any updates with this? I seem to be pretty heavily affected by it. Kinda frustrating.

are you sure it's actually network latency
when the game boots you can you ping it, what's your normal ping, etc
when I said the server was eating shit and about to die I wasn't just saying things to hear myself talk

That's very strange, I get a good ping for places like google and FB, but AR keeps disconnecting or lagging hard for me. It makes it hard to play but trying to deal with it anyway.

Right now all i know is there is a problem that began as soon as the country decided to WFH and also that not everybody is evenly affected. Now its obvious everyone is sat home watching netflix disproportionately so my request for you guys is to please be patient with it. It is not on bluevm or anything particularly cheap, just imagine the magnitude of people using the internet at the moment.
As far as the server dying is concerned, that's the least of my worries. We have multiple people with backups, and even if we couldnt fix it ourselves there's plenty of talented C developers who are currently sitting on their hands so we can get it back up for a pizza. But even without that I have gotten it running on latest gcc ..it was a bitch but its done. so we can go wherever server we want. not the priority right now (balance is)
