Myth Challenge

So, I'm wanting to come up with Legends for "unloved" NPCs. And wanted some suggestions for creatures to write about. I haven't looked, yet, at which mobs have detailed backstories, but I plan on developing new ones. I have been playing too much and need to focus on something that would be fun, creatively. I have some planned already. Basics like, Tir instead of Dagnir. Or the Lieutenant in Solace. Not really the biggest names. But the overlooked.

What creatures do you think need a backstory? Go weird!

Acholl-as in Unsiliel Wood comes to mind immediately (assuming he has no lore).

Iggilwiv in Winter (pretty sure (s)he doesn't have an entry)

Gasteride

Aranoth the Master Sailor from the Dragon Sea (again, assuming he doesn't have lore)

Merny the tax collector in Solace

Saluk the long-faced in Darkhaven

Yarbok the slith in Seringale

The renegade mage/sorcerer/whatever in the Isle of Illusion

Just to throw out some ideas ;)

i'm excited for Saluk. the clan of nightblades was zafrins mortal clan. he and kharz (weapn shop) are an intended part of that.
iggilwiv is the jilted ex-lover of xymeria. he got cucked by emperor grazz't. or maybe he cucked grazzt on the sly. i cant remember what i wrote. its in the other mobs lore somewhere. one of them is a cuck. it makes more sense to be iggy. this character almost ended up female, and the one who got cucked was going to be zaikkra which was why he was mad

From what I can remember Arunoth was the illegitimate son of a Mermaid and a leprechaun. I don't really what to touch on that because I know where he really came from. :wink:
