Druid charm bracelets?

I've come across a few help files that mention druid charm bracelets, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to use them. I recently purchased (bartered for) a large crystal for one, wore it during several fights, but nothing happened.

The reason I'm exploring this is that I was trying to raise my runic circle, and it said I needed to be attuned first. I then checked the attune help file, which mentioned these charm bracelets.

Can anyone explain what I might be doing wrong or how this system works? I can't seem to find any detailed help files on it.

I do not druid a lot, so I am not certain this will be helpful. As far as I know, you should be able to FORAGE and COMBINE for shards. And those shards are used to SLOT into your DRUIDIC STAFF. Once you are wearing a staff with shards slotted (I believe max three slots?) and you commune?/cast a spell, the crystal will get "charged" with an element, and there are many uses for the charges (brandishing in combat for your flame {from produce flame} to transmute into a charmie is a popular one, or use with ENCHANTSTAFF). This may not be the issue you are facing, as "attunement" could mean your SPIRIT BOND, where you make a bond with an element.

Also, druids can be quite complex, requiring right bonds and empowerments to be able to use certain spells, being in certain areas for certain empowerments, having circles or stones or trees or other things to use certain spells. Druids can be a rough class to get a firm grasp of. And to finally answer your original question, I have a lvl 50 gnome druid, and didnt use a charm bracelet once (or still), so I am uncertain that it is an integral part of druidship. It is probably badass, and I gimped myself not using it, knowing my luck though. Hope any or all of this helps, or someone can enlighten us both with the real answer on druidic charm bracelets?!?
