Pet inventory on death

Can we make it so that when you die, your pet's inventory doesn't just cease to exist?

Maybe when you die, your pet dies too and also leaves a corpse with its items in it.

And then make it so you butcher the corpse and feed it to your resurrected pet just because that would be metal as fuck.

I can see people abusing the pet inv not insta-rotting to a minor degree. Giving the pet 4 items the weapon being on the high end non-rare avg, it would be a new meta. Or a sack full meeting the weight requirement for pets, idk if it is even that big a deal tho that they would be able to do that

avatar works now.
i feel like the pet should hold items in corpse when it dies and you are still alive. when you die and the pet is still alive, it should wander back to your temple unless someone walks up and "claims" said pet
that's abstract but thats my idea
