Synopsis:
Grim news from Acadia delivered on dark wings--Valindra clenched the
scrap of parchment in her fist until drops of blood spotted her open
grimoire. The fuzzar who bore the message clicked and bristled as it
awaited the little goblin's response. She'd left her eye on Serin for too
long, too long, as Olgarda stirred within the Abyss, vowing to protect the
realm from the dark witch's cruel sorcery. And now? A threat to her sacred
home, the news inked in the familiar script of her beloved Serra. "Hibba,
ready the potion. We must leave at once," Valindra said to the little wisp
perched on her shoulder, or perhaps that was her reflection speaking, for
the Old Witch of Acadia had already disappeared through her mirror once
more.

Olgarda studied the scene unfolding in her cauldron. That sanctimonious
crone and her wisp couldn't help but play the hero, and instead they played
right into Olgarda's hands. Good. Out of the way, then, for what came
next. Olgarda beckoned Darkhan closer as flames as blue and icy hot as the
eyes of an abyssal marauder burbled in the witch's pot. The scene jumped,
revealing now hordes of fell minions and something else, larger than a
leviathan with flashing metallic teeth and undulating tentacles. Olgarda
purred like a cat as she gripped Darkhan's wrist.
"We begin soon."

intrepid band of heroes repelled the invaders, vanquishing them to whence
