hi all, trying to understand (new to me) AC changes. from the help file:
Damage reduction (%) = Your armor divided by 1600
Chance to be struck (%) = 100 - armor class/2 + class-based/various factors
At 400 AC, there's 25% damage reduction, that's pretty cool. But at 400AC, the chance to be struck is -100%, modified by class-based/various factors. I don't get it, should the chance to be struck include AC/20 rather than AC/2? 200AC is not that hard to attain, and it doesn't seem like it would make the chance to be struck hover around 0%, or does it?

The chance to be struck part falls off due to level scaling, I guess that should be mentioned in the helpfile. Its why drow are super tanky in low levels.
