For realism's sake, shouldn't this be a blade type rather than a segment type? A bolo is a type of knife traditionally used in the Philippines. IMO, either the weapon type should change to blade, or the weapon should get renamed to something more appropriate.

The bolo strikes with a heavy crack and the cords snap tight around the limbs, wrenching joints and twisting muscle. The victim feels a sudden "grep" as their movement is ripped away.

Bolo is the rope with weights that wraps up the bad guys. That's more segment

If you google/duckduckgo "bolo" the most popular results and most of images refer to it as a Philipino knife. So yeah, savage bolo should be a blade.
Whoever thinks bolo is a rope weapon must be living in a fantasy world.
