Roleplaying atheist (kinda)

Hi all, I haven't done this before so I( thought I'd ask ahead, but is it ok to play a respectful (polite, well-thought-out) Atheist? I'm working on a character concept where this may be the ultimate "twist" but I'm not sure if it's going to break the rules somehow? My character is a cleric so I don'tw anna get outcasted or lose sanc or something. I'm not gonna like spit on gods because they can slay me, but I might challenge their power or something.

yes, and nobodys going to mess with your character, but there will be no other actual support from the imms since you dont believe in them!
