Game down?

As of 1:50 AM GMT on Christmas Eve, the game seems to be unavailable. I've attempted several times to connect and the connection had timed out.

I assume this is currently a known problem and it's not just me (since I can access the forums and an Austrian server without issues so my connection probably isn't at fault here) ?

Nevermind I seem to in the future now. Probably need to fix my time zone.

It got stuck in a loop somehow. The only non-trivial thing I did recently was make it so quests appear in the area command, but I don't see how that could have had anything to do with it.

Grayden> I specifically said GMT (or UTC) because it is a good general reference of time internationally. I set my forum profile to GMT but I'm actually located on the east coast of the US (EST time zone which is GMT-5 or GMT-4 depending on whether DST is in affect). I'm just so used to thinking in terms of GMT that I translate back and forth from where I am quickly (I have a friend who lives in the outskirts of London who, like me, can sometimes be found awake at midnight in their respective time zone)

Dav> well there was apparently a reboot that I saw once I got connected not too too long after posting this topic... I managed to log in 13 minutes after the reboot occurred according to the time command.
