How many alts do you have?

Starting out as I am, I have created at least 2 dozen different characters as I experiment with different classes and combos. It's probably a combination of ADHD and genuine curiosity. They are all interesting and fun to play.

Now that I have a surface level feel for the classes, I find myself settling down. I've noticed that I have a main character I really enjoy, but if I only have 30 min to play, it's not enough to enjoy that RP and I'll play an alt - especially if one requires boring work like training skills or spells. I probably have 2-3 of these alts on a rotating schedule around my main. I feel a little guilty because it adds up and I'd rather play my main, but I also don't want to half-ass him, either. It's still all fun and interesting. I could see, in time, narrowing it down to a main and an alt - with different RPs for different reasons.

How about you guys? How many are you playing at a time and why?

I don't tend to have as much time as I would like, but even when I do I try not to have more than one or two alts, and they usually don't make it to 50. I main focus on one level 50 and try to build relationships, be they friends or foes.

I typically go with three active characters: one for RP, one for PK, and one in training.

But I have a large number of characters in my roster overall and should probably consider deleting some of them...

I have been thinking these days, about creating an evil character and join the Legion. Maybe it will be fun! Who knows? I realized these days how Dogran cares for the Legion and that made me think about joining him.

I make Kalist levels of characters, very few get to 50. At most I'll have two at 50 ever at a time that I'll split time between and one alt I invest time in training. Ever since I started doing hardcore stuff, this has worked very well for me. Haven't died on either of them yet. Come and get me.

You have played 112 characters for 5567 hours. I remove/delete any characters that don't pass 25, even if i train for hours at 25, also I had easily twice that before the dashboard was created.

My original character kept dying and going into an experience deficit, probably had three times the exp needed for level and con death at like 25th. Thankfully the exp loss is just a reset now.

900 of those on 3 chars. One for 440 hours.
